Honeymoon
Santa Fe, NM>Pagosa Springs, CO>Wolf Creek, CO>Pagosa Springs, CO>Santa Fe, NM
We had an amazing honeymoon! We spent 8 days exploring the West, skiing in Wolf Creek, soaking at the Springs in Pagosa Springs, and enjoying meals at our house on 22 acres overlooking the San Jacinto National Forest. It is exactly the kind of trip Dave and I like - non-touristy, relaxing, outdoorsy, and active.
The house we stayed in is a friends who graciosly gave it to us for our wedding present. It has unobstructed views of the national forest, amazing sunrises and sunsets, is set on 22 acres, remote - yet 10 minutes from a sleepy town, and 30 minutes to Wolf Creek, which has the most powder in Colorado. If you are looking for a place to stay in Colorado, check it out. It could hold 3 couples (and some kiddos) easily.
